DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Brothers Taco House, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Houston, Texas, at 1604 Emancipation Ave. This charming Mexican restaurant has captured the hearts (and appetites) of locals and visitors alike with its authentic flavors and inviting atmosphere.

At Brothers Taco House, customization is key. As Michael Olivo aptly notes, you can mix and match to create your perfect taco. Whether you're craving a traditional beef taco or a breakfast delight loaded with eggs and fresh toppings, the possibilities are endless. This flexibility is one of the highlights that makes dining here an exciting experience. The friendly staff enhances this visit, ensuring each meal is served with a smile.

Speaking of meals, the breakfast tacos are a standout. Krystal Liu raves about their generous portions and remarkable flavor, making them an ideal choice for a quick yet satisfying morning bite. Moreover, the affordable prices at Brothers Taco House set it apart from its competitors, as K-PEG mentions, making it a go-to destination for taco lovers without breaking the bank.

The atmosphere, while casual, buzzes with energy, especially during peak hours. Customers often notice the lines, noting that this is a testament to the freshness of the food. James Klein highlights the efficient service that gets patrons in and out quickly while still allowing them to savor the variety of taco options and outstanding coffee. It's clear that the line is worth the wait!

For those with a taste for spiciness, don't miss out on the flavorful hot sauces that accompany each meal. As Destyne Caldwell enthusiastically shares, the salsas at checkout pack a punch, perfectly balancing the dishes with an added layer of flavor.

In summary, Brothers Taco House is more than just a taco place; it’s an experience. With fresh, delicious food, a wide variety of options, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a must-try for anyone in the area. Remember, this is a spot where you not only feed your hunger but also engage in wonderful conversations over mouthwatering tacos. Don't forget to come hungry!

Food is always awesome, love the fact ypur able to mix and match to make the perfect taco, my belly appreciates that lol! The brothers house staff are always friendly and awesome! Their lemonade is delicious. We never eat inside so don't take my 4 stars as much of a hit or the long line to mean much. Just means that the food stays fresh and come with conversation, come hungry

I like this place, in an area of town that has great tacos on every corner. Brothers is definitely a must try. Not much English is spoken, but you can point out, and they know what you want. Plus prices are cheaper than other places. Prepare to wait in line.

Visited this taco place a Sunday morning and it was pretty good. There was a bit lineup but moving quickly. Service was nice and friendly. Breakfast tacos were loaded and very tasty. Solid place to have a quick breakfast with reasonable price.

Visiting the George Brown Convention Center early on a Sunday morning looking desperately for somewhere to pick up a bite and my wife found Brothers Taco House! Wow! What a treat, the serving line was quick, food was delicious, and the staff was spot on friendly. We were in and out within 10 minutes. There is no drive thru but if there was you'd miss out the big selection of tacos varieties. Their coffee and hot sauces were also very good. We come to the convention center and few times a year, so that means we will return soon!

Went with my friend and LOVED IT!!! Realized after most of the food was eaten that I forgot to take a picture for this review. She got two breakfast tacos (pictured) and three regular tacos (beef and chicken, not pictured). All were amazing and my beef tacos were stellar! I loved the little to go salsas at the checkout, spicy and flavorful! Can’t wait to come back

If Houston had a love language, it’d be tacos and Brothers Taco House speaks it fluently. I went in with the full intention of getting hit with flavor, and their Tacos delivered just that. The tortillas are fresh and slightly crispy on the edges, yet soft enough to fold around the juicy fillings without falling apart. Every bite felt intentional seasoned to perfection with just the right balance of spice, smoke, and savory depth. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, not drowned in sauce, but enhanced by it. This isn’t just a quick bite it’s an experience with flavor that hits like it was made just for you.

Delicious tacos great service and quick. Love my Hispanic people we know how to cook the line was long but it was quick to get serviced. The place is old but the vibes and the music and the food is what makes up for it. The parking was a bit difficult but found one quickly. My family loved it we will come back when we are on that side of town.

I see why this place is so popular. Cheap and delicious breakfast tacos. The chorizo was definitely my favorite, but everything we tried was perfect. Generally the clients and staff here speak Spanish, so it's helpful to speak and understand Spanish, but not required! There's a line, but it moves quickly. Parking is a bit tricky, but even with that the experience was smooth.
